Based on the tender held by the Thermal Power Plants Holding with the subject of preparing international tender documents with BOO and EPCF contractual formats (Qualifications-Based on Selection -QBS) and to execute contractual negotiations, the joint venture formed among GNEC from Iran and ILF from Austria was able to enter the client’s short list and eventually their technical and commercial proposal was deemed the best among other local and international consultant companies and the contract to provide financial, procurement and management services along with tender negotiations for the Mazandaran and Rey regions with BOO and EPCF formats was awarded to this Joint Venture.

International tenders to build power plants based on this contractual framework through a joint venture among an Iranian and International consultant is being carried out for the first time in Iran.
