Inauguration of gas units of Mehtab Kavir Zarand Kerman Power Plant

Two gas units of Mehtab Kavir Zarand power plant in Kerman with a capacity of 423 MW were inaugurated with the presence of the Minister of Energy. The project has been put on the agenda in line with the implementation of the country's electricity industry policies and having two gas units and one steam unit with a capacity of 343 megawatts. All the equipment of this power plant was built by domestic experts and it is the first power plant on which the Iranian control system works. GNEC is responsible for consultancy and supervision services in the project. Kerman Province is the largest province of the 31 provinces of Iran. It is in the southeast of Iran, with its capital in the city of Kerman.
