With completion and extension of the 400 KV section of Khuzestan Shahid Hashemi substation as well as its 400/132 KV transformer, the substation with the capacity of 315 MVA energized and connected to the national grid on 23 June 2023. Khuzestan is one of the provinces of Iran in the southwest of the country.

GNEC is the Consultant of the client (Khuzestan Regional Electric Co.) in the project.
