GNEC wishes to everyone celebrating the occasion of Nowruz throughout Iran and across the rest of the world. It is celebrated as the first day of the Persian year (March 20). The tradition which is originated from the ancient Iran is also celebrated in some other countries.

Nowruz is the traditional Iranian festival of spring which starts at the exact moment of the vernal equinox, commencing the start of the spring. It is considered as the start of the New Year among Iranians.
