The fourth gas unit of Gol gohar power plant with capacity of 183MW synchronized to the national grid on 24 October 2024.

The second block of Sirjan Goharan combined cycle power plant has two 183 MW gas units and one steam unit of 180 MW. Most of the equipment and technology used in the power plant is native and domestic.

GNEC is responsible for all engineering consultancy services in the project.
